Part-Time Sales Coordinator – RGV Radio Stations

POSITION SUMMARY: The Part-time Sales Coordinator is committed to achieving a high-performance culture that
emphasizes accuracy, quality, continuous improvement via training, and supporting a productive sales environment.
Responsibilities include assisting the Chief Revenue Officer, the sales teams in the RGV, Laredo and Reynosa markets
in the day- to-day activities of these positions. Will work as a team with the current Sales Coordinator in executing
any pending work.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support the Chief Revenue Officer, and all marketing consultants in the RGV, Reynosa and Laredo markets in their
day-to day activities.
• Enter orders into Wide Orbit and V-Creative for Marketing Consultants on an as needed basis.
• Correct and/or revise orders as needed.
• Prepare and publish revenue reports on a routine basis as established by the Chief Revenue Officer.
• Prepare and publish “activation” reports on a routine basis as established by the CRO.
• Maintain, prepare, publish, revise all promotion event tracking on a routine basis as established by CRO.
• Maintain and publish Social Media Calendar on a routine basis as established by CRO.
• Maintain and publish 30-minute show calendar on a routine basis as established by CRO.
• Compile Marketing Consultants quarterly and annual budgets, creating templates of each, providing to CRO and
each Marketing Consultant on a timely basis as established by CRO.
• Prepare and publish reports on demand on an as needed basis.
• Embrace continual training on sales software on a as needed basis.
• Perform any other related duties as required or assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Require candidates with significant knowledge and experience (5+ years) in a Media Sales environment with
strong knowledge of sales terms and principles. High School diploma or equivalent required.
English and Spanish verbal and written language required.
SKILLS:
The ability to follow department policies and procedures and to concentrate on tasks in the presence of

Decision-making is a factor in this position. This employee makes decisions related to orders. Must be able to
assess problems and implement solutions.
MENTAL DEMAND
Very close mental demand required. Requires very close and continuous attention for sales tasks which require a high degree
of coordination, concentration, and immediate response. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while minimizing
errors and challenges resulting from high pressure situations and the high number of details involved with work load.
ANALYTICAL ABILITY / PROBLEM SOLVING:
Problem solving is a factor in this position. The position encounters problems answering questions and concerns of the staff
and customers who may be dissatisfied with results, orders, other challenges. Professional skills using structured practices
or policies and directed to execution and review. Sound reasoning and decision-making are essential.
USE OF MACHINES, EQUIPMENT AND/OR COMPUTERS
Ability to use computer equipment, smart phones, and other devices.
SOFTWARE SKILLS PREFERRED
Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Teams, Wide Orbit, V-Creative, ShareBuilders, Social
Media, and other software used in media sales.
PUBLIC AND TEAM MEMBER CONTACT
Regular contact with Clients and team members. Contact with other departments and others in middle level positions;
consulting on problems which necessitate judgment and tact in presentation to obtain cooperation or approval of action to
be taken.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
Working environments where there may be loud noise, music, or chatter. These may include but are not limited to the office,
radio stations, and client onsite locations.
